I wanted to pick In The Sun, but I've gone on and on about that for weeks in my old blog. Insult On The Dead...

Ok, I'd like to point out now, I don't give much for the dead. Call me what you like, but there dead, they don't really care what I say about them. What I do care about is whats said around the living connected to the dead. My grate gran was a horrible woman, so I don't mind saying things like Gang Green has made a new friend in me...I know no one in my family or around her liked her, and thus I don't feel anything for what I said, and I don't think it's anyone's right to condemn me for my comment. But I do think I have full right to condemn the wanker who came up with this:



Johnny Cash was an awesome man, and at least one of his songs touches most people (and for most people that song is Hurt). This video is meant to be a tribute to him...I'm all for tributes but listen to the quote at the beginning...'johnny always wore black, he wore black because he identified with the poor and the down trodden'. This is true, Johnny had risen from being one of them, so no doubt he did feel he was on an equal par with them and that's worthy of my respect I say. Final Fantasy XI

Well as you will know if you read my comic, I've been slow to update (I hope I made up for that tonight with that big graphical update I did to the site). And there is a reason why! It's not a good reason, but is a reason. I've gotten back into playing my old nemesis...Final Fantasy XI!

I used to dispise the game, my reasons? Two of them...

1. I forked out over £170 on the game, because my BRAND NEW COMPUTER wasn't up to scratch, even then I had to run it on settings so low I couldn't read the names above other players heads, and every time the weather effects kicked in, I was kicked out of the game.

2. I played with Nathan.M...no offence to the guy but that's an unwise move. Within the space of 3 months in the game, he made me jump servers (meaning the deletion of my character each time) at least 4, maybe 5 times.

Anyway, I spent the last year or two hating the game on this basis, until recently when my older bro wanted to get into a commercial MMORPG and was tempted by the darkness that is WoW. I tried to sway him but his eyes caught the pure evil that is Everquest 2. In one last attempt to save his soul from the clutches of Blizzard or Sony, I agreed to play an MMORPG with him, and weened him onto the idea of FFXI (I didn't like it, but I knew it wasn't a bad game). And low and behold, I've been hooked since.

Anyway, after that night story, here is the reason why I've talked about this:

I'm currently a Elven Monk on the Garuda server. My name is Underscore. I know no one other than my brother (A Hume Warrior), and fancy starting a link shell. So, if you play FFXI, and are on the Garuda server, no matter of class, race, or level, get in touch :-) I'm normally somewhere around Bastok.

If you haven't played or heard of FFXI, I encourage you to give it a go. A copy doesn't cost much now and has a 30 day trial :-) if that doesn't sway you, maybe this will

Anyway, this is the first real post, the last two don't really count. I've had 4 weeks of stewing in my own opinions and pissyness so lets see what I can come up with!

RACISM ON BIG BROTHER!
Oh shit! Were on series...who gives a fuck, of CBB here in jolly old Britten and this year they have gone all out to supply us with people we don't know...oh, there was that guy from A-Team...and one of the lesser known Jacksons...seems odd, Michel gets accused to fiddling the kids, but apparently his older brother gets punished.

ANYWAY, today Channel 4 got over 2000 complaints because of racism in the house! OH SHIT!You stick some real people in a house and some of them act racist, what should we do?! LETS COMPLAIN!...I'm sorry, but this just proves there are 2000 retards in the UK who have been misplaced by there carers...complaining to Channel 4 will do what? How dose it change the fact this country has an underlining racism? Fuck, a kid got attacked with a hammer by a bunch of Asian kids the other day, and what about the Danny-loma (however his name is spelt) tailor murder? (R.I.P) If we cover our eyes to the problem by trying to remove it from any form of media, how the fuck are we gonna fix the problem?!

WHAT'S NEW IN LIFE?
Ok, I've been gone for 4 weeks so here is an update on my life.

• My PC is dead, luckily I got my Laptop just in time, plus I managed to salvage the Life Of TimmY graphic file, so the comics shall continue!
• I was 'let go' from my job. Shame, but I knew it was coming.
• I have begun development of a new line of Neecap and Charlie comics, after a talk with Joe from Argos, and a word with Matt, as well as Alyssa nagging me to let her be a part of the cast, things are gonna look quite different...kinda...sorta...in no way at all ^_^
• My bro and me have started playing Final Fantasy XI on the PC, I'm underscore, why not drop me a message sometime?
• I got a copy of Wario Ware on the Wii...my god it's fun :-D
• I've started designing the new look website for Life Of TimmY (as the old one is gone along with my dead PC and web space)
• Scribble Zombie FINALY has a use, it's not gonna be a half arced Oekaki board any more, but a place for opinions and weirdyness :-D more info on that soon.
